Tutoring is one of my favorite things to do, honestly. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was about 13, but through different teaching and tutoring experiences over the last seven years I have realized that I am exceptional at one-on-one involvement in students' learning. I am able to explain a concept in myriad ways, and I have extraordinary patience to try it again and again until the student's goal is reached. I live for the smile on someone's face when they finally reach a goal or understand a difficult concept, which shows me how much this is my passion. I have tutored students from all over the world, including the US, Rwanda, Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua. I succeeded highly in my educational endeavors, graduating high school as Valedictorian and university with Magna Cum Laude honors and 13 consecutive quarters on the Dean's List. I have formal training in Language Learning, teaching English as a Second Language, child development, cultural communication, curriculum development/lesson planning, classroom management and more. I am known for being extremely organized and motivated, and have developed many study and life skills. I have also searched out many opportunities to meet people who are different from me, and this allows me to relate to a wide variety of students that I may come across. ACT Score: 32
